I am the deputy director of academic quality and senior lecturer in the pharmacy provision in the School of Health and Care Sciences at the University of Lincoln.  I teach mainly on Immunology, Microbiology and Biotechnology.

My research interests centre around alternative antimicrobials.  In particular, I am interested in bacteriocins (toxins produced by a strain of bacteria to kill other like strains of bacteria) and bacteriophage.  My aim is to determine the function, activity, stability and inhibition of these toxins and phage by using a variety of biochemical and biophysical techniques.
